Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 2026

Youngster Company (youngstercompany.com) is reader-supported. To keep our tutorials, interview-preparation guides, and cybersecurity content free to read, we participate in several affiliate programs. This page explains what that means and how it affects you.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a special URL that tells a partner (for example, a hosting provider, an online course platform, or a certification voucher reseller) that you arrived at their site through us. If you make a qualifying purchase, the partner pays Youngster Company a small commission — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same as if you had visited the partner directly.

Programs we participate in

We participate (or may participate) in affiliate or referral programs from providers including, but not limited to:

  • Web hosting providers (e.g. Hostinger, Bluehost, DigitalOcean)
  • Online learning platforms (e.g. Coursera, Udemy, Pluralsight)
  • Cybersecurity tool vendors (e.g. VPN providers such as NordVPN, Proton)
  • Certification voucher resellers (e.g. for CompTIA, EC-Council, AWS, Cisco)
  • Software-as-a-Service tools relevant to DevOps, networking, and security
  • The Amazon Associates Program for technical books and equipment

Our editorial promise

  • We only recommend what we would use ourselves. If a tool, course, or service does not meet our standard, we do not link to it — even if its commission is higher.
  • Affiliate commissions never determine rankings. When a post compares options, the ordering reflects our honest opinion, not commission size.
  • We disclose at the point of recommendation. Sponsored posts and posts containing affiliate links carry a visible note near the affiliate link or at the start of the post.
  • You can always buy directly. Every product we link to can be purchased without using our affiliate link. We provide the link as a convenience and a way to support our work.

Sponsored content

Occasionally we publish sponsored articles or product reviews for which a vendor has paid us. Such posts are clearly labeled as “Sponsored” at the top of the article. Even when content is sponsored, we retain editorial control over the wording.

Amazon Associates disclosure

Youngster Company is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.in and Amazon.com.
